After graduating from Stanford University years ago and eventually helping my own three children and their friends apply to college, I became fascinated with the breadth of college opportunities and the diversity of the college admissions landscape. And so about 15 years ago I left a career in marketing to become a college admissions consultant, as well as a writer.

The college application process has become much more complicated in the last few decades, and I revel in helping students and families navigate the exciting journey with reduced stress and optimal outcomes. While helping students explore the possibilities and find the academic environment that suits them best, I find myself so grateful to have the opportunity to work with teenagers preparing to embark on their independent academic and life journeys. It's such a joy to help them explore and discover through their application writing who they are and what they find most meaningful.
