Application Planning

I help students manage college application planning and preparation throughout their high school years, to position themselves to submit exceptional applications as seniors. We strategize together about class choice, activity opportunities, interest exploration, and testing regimens, as well as prepare for interviews.

College List

From the over 2,000 four-year colleges in the U.S., I create a personalized preliminary college list for each of my students after surveying their unique goals, capabilities, needs and expectations. Through assisted research, evaluation and review, we work together to curate a balanced list of excellent colleges a student is excited to consider for application. When admissions results are in, I help them evaluate their offers to determine which is the best final fit for them.

Essay Help

I offer expert essay guidance and review, helping students craft compelling essays that reveal their unique story and highlight their strengths to their best advantage.

I engage students with brainstorming sessions to find the most compelling topic ideas to present in their essays. Honing those ideas, we explore content and structure that will reveal their thoughts and experiences in the most engaging way. Finally, I guide them in editing their writing until it is polished and ready for submission.
